Molly oh Molly

Hi all this is ShowLow back again after another long absence from blogging. Allot has happened since last year, including me turning FIVE years young in April. Len decided to try the second cat concept with me...well it didn't work out very well. Molly this three year old tortie needed a home and Len decided to try it out. She just seemed to be too much of a nervous nelly around me. i really wanted to like her and just play but she didn't want anything of his. All she did when we were in the bedroom is hide under the bed and growl at me if I came near. She also left some nasty warning signs she didn't want me near by, if you know what I mean. Well the previous owner was nice enough to take Molly back so it all worked out. We here she is more happy then the first time so I thin we did some good for her. Another new item is a new food len is buying for me called evolve, I really like it. It has all natural stuff in it. Well that is all I have for now, hope i can check in with you'll more often but you known how that goes, food to eat and naps to take in between blogging. By for now, Showlow

I haven't posted since feb. even missed my B-d( April 30th)..cause I had lost my bookmark for some reason. Well maybe now I will post more often now that Len has "free" Wifi. Lot's of topics to discuss including the mandatory stuff governments are trying to make pet lovers do, and the reasons even this PET is against them.

Ok...it's going to be 18 digress tonight in Tucson. I am glad I am an indoor kittie. I weep for me fellow felines that aren't. I do have it on good authority though that my human grandparents are dog sitting and for people that would NEVER in a million years allow any animal inside they are actually letting this dog stay inside tonight. It's going to be NINE degrees were they are at. WHOA! God Bless all the homeless animals out there. Purrrr or should I say…burrr.

Lion taco's...I'll pass and so should you.

There is a restaurant in Tucson Arizona that was planning on serving up Lion tacos on there "exotic taco day"...I've herd that due to lot's of complaints and even threats(those threats btw.. as much against this I am I don't condone) will not be serving them up. However I've also herd they still might be doing this. Also they still do serve up other "exotic" animals on a certain day of the week. Well my question is why? We have enough domesticated animals for human consumption that we don't need these exotic animals. That are also play a very important role in the natural food chain of life. Some will come back with the "dominion over animals" defense. Well we also must be good stewards to God's creation. I am not so sure God created the Lion to be dined on. I think a good premise is if something can eat YOU...you shouldn't be eating it. Google the restaurant that is here in Tucson. I am not going to mention it and my "owner" will not patronize the place now or in the future, regardless of it's future business plan.

Hi again...

Hi this is ShowLow again. I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted. I need to post more often. I need to talk about some big issues today....I think I need another nap. See you next time. :)



Editors note: This is ShowLow's writer Len....He does fully intend to dictate more material to me in the near future. We have some ideas and also re-hash some old cat topics. We are also thinking of enlisting the services of a guest blogger, hopefully he will be able to come up with some alternative cat views from his cat's points of view. Stay tuned. :)

I just thought I would pop in real quick to let you'll know I am still prowling around, just haven't had the time or energy(you know us cats) to write anything on my blog in awhile. I've had a fun spring and so far part of the summer. Maybe when I get a chance I'll talk about some of he pressing issues a cat might have...like when my next meal will be...LOL. Animal posion control number charges...

I had a friend call this 1-888 number for advice on his cat and found out that they started charging a 65 dollar "consultation fee" as of the first. What a crock. I believe that the number is sponsored and/or run by the ASPCA. This had seemed to be one of those few advocacy groups that actually did something instead of just being a professional protesting group, now that they have started to charge for a vital service I am pretty disappointed in them. You would think that the donations this organization get's all year round would cover any expenses for the hot line. What a tragedy that animal lovers who can't afford a service like this might be with out any other alternative. I urge readers to contact your local ASPCA and voice your opinion about this.

Happy 2010 everyone. I haven't posted in awhile, just had a nice holiday season with lot's of great treats. Although I was a little disappointed my "owner" didn't really produce much in Christmas presents this year, just a stuffed animal kitten that he think, I think is real(sure whatever, I'll humor him). Anyway I want to start posting semi-regularly soon, I just need to come up with some new material. And I'll probably go over a few older topics(declawing, how much I hate it) and other cat topics. This year will be a big year for me as I turn THREE on April 30. I'll submit my p.o. box where you can send presents(or better yet CASH.."tens, and twenty's". Well meow for now.
